Singapore-based online shopping platform 5:5 is bringing Korean womenswear and menswear, accessories and lifestyle products delivered right to your doorsteps. With a variety of carefully curated selection across 25 Korean independent labels, you can mix and match to achieve your preferred look without awkward moments of someone wearing the same outfit, as selected items from each label will be available in limited quantities of 25 pieces each.
Staying true to its name, you can look forward to a range of new releases from 5:5 every 25th of the month and some of the pieces will be on display at their 2318 square feet showroom at Suntec City Mall uniquely designed with 5 conceptually-curated spaces – Bare Essentials, Hue New, Liquid Dreams, Pink Permeated, and Ready Set Glow.
Good news for those who like to try on the new label releases before making the purchase via the order terminals and receive your purchases within a week direct from Korea.
If you love visually striking pop of hues, colour-block interiors coming to life in fun geometric shapes, you will enjoy the labels among the space of Hue New.
What I like about the thematic showroom is that you can find designs across multiple Korean labels that fit into this theme so it is easier to mix and match, definitely the first in Singapore.
Bare Essentials celebrates the beautiful interplay between pure form and function. The all-white space is unassuming, comfortable and understatedly chic.
Ready Set Glow, my favourite space in the showroom, features an immersive Tron-esque, otherworldly setting with heavy light play illuminated with a creative usage of space transforming color-drenched fluorescent tubes.
I had to give this jacket a try as it caught my attention with the details in the embroidery as well as the comfortable fabric that suits the tropical weather in Singapore.
